Hurghada – Soma Bay - Hurghada
Heute
Morgen war ich schon um 10 Uhr beim Frühstück, weil ich für 12:30 t-time in
Soma Bay reserviert hatte. Ein weiterer wunderschöner Tag kündigte sich an und
ich freute mich ihn auf dem schönsten Golfplatz am Roten Meer zu verbringen...
This morning I
was at breakfast already
at 10 am because
I had reserved t-time at Soma Bay for 12:30.
Another beautiful day was in the air and I was happy to be able to spend it on the most beautiful golf course at the Red Sea...

Um 11:30 Uhr
stand Ahmed pünktlich wie immer vor dem Hotel und los ging es die 50
km Richtung Süden nach Soma Bay. Bevor ich um 12:30 Uhr abschlug, hatte
ich ein kurzes nettes Gespräch mit dem Golfmanager Mohamed Mansour, dem ich
meine Blogarbeit erklärte und so prompt einen Rabatt von 20 % erhielt! Die
ersten wunderschönen 9 Loch spielte ich alleine und die zweiten 9 mit den
äusserst sympathischen Andrea und Alain aus Stans - eine absolut willkommene
Abwechslung mit zwei weiteren Weltenbummlern austauschen zu können! : )
At 11:30 am Ahmed was in front of the hotel punctual as always and off we went 50 km south to Soma Bay. Before I drove off at 12:30 pm, I had a brief and nice chat with the golf manager Mohamed Mansour, to whom I explained my work on my blog and promptly received a discount of 20 %! I played the first beautiful 9 holes alone and the second 9 with the utmost likeable Andrea and Alain from Stans (Switzerland) – what a welcome change to exchange with two other globetrotters! : )

Kurz vor
17 Uhr stand Ahmed wieder bereit, wir luden meine Golfausrüstung ins Taxi und
fuhren zurück nach Hurghada begleitet von einem wunderschönen Sonnenuntergang
über den Bergen der Wüste...
Irgendwie
fühlte ich mich todmüde, konnte es aber doch nicht lassen für morgen einen
Schnorchelausflug auf die Insel Giftun zu buchen... das bedeutet jedoch, dass
ich morgen etwas eher aufstehen muss, ich heute Abend wieder einmal im Hotel
bleiben und in meinem Lieblingsrestaurant dinieren werde!
Nach
einer herrlichen Dusche und etwas Ruhe mit einem Glas Weisswein im Zimmer
raffte ich mich um 20 Uhr auf und begab mich ins Restaurant Tuscany. Ich hatte
ja bereits Erfahrung und freute mich deshalb umso mehr aufs Essen! Zudem ist es
einfach schön, wenn man von all dem Personal hier so freundlich und wohlwollend
behandelt wird - das ist echtes Leben! Heute bestellte ich eine grandiose
Pilzsuppe und danach ein Rindsfilet mit knackigem Gemüse und
Blumenkohlkartoffelstock - ein genialer Ausklang eines wundervollen Tages!

Shortly
before 5 pm Ahmed was again ready, we loaded my golf equipment into the taxi
and drove back to Hurghada accompanied by a beautiful sunset over the mountains
of the desert...
Somehow
I felt dead tired, but I could not help booking a snorkeling trip to the island
Giftun for tomorrow... but
that means that I need to get up early tomorrow, I would remain at the hotel tonight
and dine at my favorite restaurant!
After
a nice shower and some rest with a glass of white wine in the room I braced
myself up for going to the restaurant Tuscany at 20 pm. I
had already experience it and therefore was looking forward even more to my
dinner ! In
addition, it's just nice when you are treated so kindly and benevolent by all
the staff here - this is real life! Today
I ordered a magnificent mushroom soup, followed by a beef tenderloin with
crispy vegetables and cauliflower mashed potatoes - a brilliant end to a
wonderful day!
